Huawei Wearable Market

Huawei has once again proved itself and secured the third position in Q3, 2023, global wearable market with a 10% unit share. According to the Canalys market research organization report, Huawei has reached 45% annual growth in the wearable section and stole third place in the global wearable market. Huawei’s smartwatches and their features have a big contribution to this success, especially the Huawei Watch GT 4 series.

Ultimately, Huawei has overtaken Samsung in the global market which is quite a surprise for Samsung, because the South Korean tech giant has recently launched its Galaxy Watch 6 series and tagged that the smartwatch is fully furnished with amazing features. But users did not like its features much, on the other hand, Huawei has rapidly grown in the smartwatch market with the help of the Huawei Watch GT 4.

Although, the Galaxy Watch 6 has not been able to impress consumers as much as its previous generation watches did, especially the Galaxy Watch 4 has created unique hype in the market. That’s why Samsung has fallen 21% in annual growth in the wearable market and took fourth place in Q3, 2023.

Apart from this, there has also been a decline in the sales of Apple’s Watches and the company growth has declined 12% in Q3, 2023. But after all that, the company is still in first place in the global wearable market. Along with this, Xiaomi has also occupied the second position by making a good place in the hearts of consumers with its smartwatches and smart bands.

Huawei Global Wearable Market report

Xiaomi has taken its annual growth to 39% in the wearable market segment with a 12% unit share of Q3, 2023. Furthermore, Fire Boltt has also joined the race with an annual growth of 53%. As we know, the Fire Boltt has provided cheaper price tags to consumers with amazing and premium-style watches.

Overall, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Fire Boltt have made their mark in the field of smartwatches in Q3, 2023. According to this report, even though Huawei is 2% behind in the unit share of Xiaomi in the third quarter, but the company has increased its annual growth by more than 6% than Xiaomi. That means Huawei’s smartwatch has already established itself in the smartwatch market. Previously, Huawei has achieved a 56% YoY increase in smartwatch shipments for Q3 2023.
